The 100 best ideas for breakfast: Parmesan garlic biscuits and herbs
These buttery butter cookies are the perfect breakfast idea for the weekend!
- 2 Cups Flour for any purpose
- 4 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Fresh fresh black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda powder
- 1/4 Goblet Garlic butter and herbs spread, plus 2 tablespoons of garlic and dissolved herbs
- 1/3 Goblet Parmesan cheese cut into cubes (1/4 inch)
- 1/3 Goblet Gruyere cheese cut into cubes (1/4 inch)
- 1/2 Goblet Chopped chives
- 1 Goblet Cold butter
- Salt flakes and fresh black pepper on top
- Soft scrambled eggs
- Sliced prosciutto
- Garlic butter and other herbs spread
Preheat oven to 450˚ F.
In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and baking soda and stir to combine. Using a fork or pastry cutter, cut the garlic and cold herbs into the flour mixture until a crumbly mixture is obtained. Make a hole in the center, place in a cheese and chive well and pour over. Mix carefully and slowly until it comes together and forms a dough
Turn the dough over a lightly floured surface and with floured hands, knead it quickly 3-4 times to unify it. Beat the dough into an 8 × 8 square, about 1 inch thick, and cut into 9 square biscuits
Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or sulfate, brush with melted butter, sprinkle with salt and pepper and place in a hot oven until apple and golden, about 15-18 minutes.
Slice each biscuit in half and serve with prosciutto, scrambled eggs and softened butter spread spread over
