This light sausage stroganoff is perfect for a busy night. It’s packed with flavor and my whole family loved it. It’s definitely a twist on a classic, so if you like Stroganoff hamburger I think you will like it too. We love to cook with sausage and this is a great dish.
Easy Stroganoff sausage ingredients needed
Pork breakfast sausage
Fried crispy onion – optional
This is a super easy skillet dish that reheats well as well. I’ve never tried freezing it, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. You can easily use canned mushrooms if you don’t have fresh mushrooms. We love the crispy fried onions in this dish, but this side dish is completely optional. You can easily leave them. We like a little cheese sprinkled on top, but it’s definitely not necessary. This dish makes a ton, so it’s great to enjoy for a few nights or make up and enjoy for lunch!
