TSO posters rules
The traditional Tso general chicken is made with chunks of chicken that are fought, fried and covered in a sweet and spicy sauce. My version with chicken stickers contains a lot of flavor, there are some non-traditional ingredients, and to be honest, we like this recipe more than the classic General Tso.
What is TSO General Chicken?
General Tso’s chicken is a deep-fried, sweet and spicy chicken dish, offered in Chinese restaurants in North America.
What is a general TSO sauce made of?
The classic General Tso sauce is made from rice vinegar, soy sauce, Hussein sauce, Water, sugar and corn starch. I replaced Beef soup Instead of water for more flavor. I also added ginger and a pinch of Red pepper. instead of Brown sugar or Grain white sugarI chose healthier coconut sugar.
What you will need to make general TSO posters
It seems like a long list of ingredients, but this recipe really is not difficult. It takes a bit of time to stuff and fold the stickers, but while they are cooking it is easy to mix the sauce and everything comes in at once.

- Ground chicken. You can also use ground turkey or pork.
- garlic. I prefer fresh garlic.
- Onion. I recommend white or yellow onions for this recipe.
- quinoa. I added cooked quinoa for protein and nutrients and to lighten the stickers. You can omit it or replace boiled and aerated cauliflower.
- soy sauce. I recommend low-sodium soy.
- black pepper.
- Wenton Covers. Get the little Wenton 4-inch covers. You can also use round dumpling wrappers.
- broccoli. I used 2 cups of broccoli flowers to make them cook faster.
- Beef soup. You can give chicken or vegetable stock.
- Rice vinegar. There is no good substitute for this.
- Coconut sugar. You may want to use white Sugar or Brown sugar.
- Ginger. Fresh and grated ginger. I do not recommend ground ginger.
- cayenne pepper. Omit if heat is not your thing.
- Corn starch. Corn starch Thicken the sauce. It’s the same taste without it if you want to omit it.
