I’m not even kidding. There are five ingredients in these M&M peanut butter snacks!

1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + oven = delicious!

Peanut Butter + M & Ms = Happy!

(5 x 1) + hungry children = zero!

A math class is over. Moving on.

M & M’s peanut butter snacks are not only easy to make, but they are so delicious. Soft, chewy and super sweet. I recommend a large cup of milk or a cup of coffee. And small bites that relish every dish.

Baking should not be difficult. It’s amazing how people like even the easiest recipes. I remember a time when our family visited the home of our French exchange student. We were asked to make dessert for dinner, whipped up a dish of Crispy Rice treats and topped with a layer of melted chocolate and peanut butter. I know, pretty lame, right? It’s harder than you think to bake in another country! However, you would think it’s a gourmet treat! Our French hosts were enthusiastic about them. It was almost embarrassing.

You will love that you can also make variations to this recipe. M & Ms are not the only sweets that taste great in bars.

what do you need

What are the five components of magic? I’m sure you already understand that!

  • Peanut Butter: Creamy or plump, no matter. Avoid natural peanut compliments that should be mixed; Choose a brand like Jif or Skippy.
  • Eggs: Several eggs hold this business together.
  • Brown sugar: The taste of the molasses adds to the profile of these cookies. Dark brown sugar works like light brown sugar.
  • Baking mix for any purpose: An example is Jiffy or Bisquick. The mixture comes in a large box and is a shortening product used to make pancakes, waffles or biscuits. If you want, you can use Homemade biscuit.

How to make this recipe

Turn on the stove, wash your hands and let’s get started! You will need an 8 × 8 baking pan, or equivalent. Spray it lightly with cooking spray.

In a mixing bowl, mix together the peanut butter and eggs until both ingredients are fine and smooth.

Stir in eggs and peanut butter.

Add the brown sugar and mix again. The mixture should be well mixed.

Measure out the baking mixture and add to the bowl. Mix it as well as possible. The dough is very thick. You may need to use your hands to combine it. I usually do.

The ingredients are mixed.

Add the M & Ms and stir a little more. Again, hands are perfectly allowed. If all the M&M does not stay in the dough, do not worry.

M & Ms are added to the peanut butter dough.

Turn the dough into the prepared mold and fasten it to a uniform layer. Click on any M&M left stray or left directly into the dough.

Dough compressed into a pan, not baked.

Put these babies directly in the oven and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until they get a golden color. Be sure to notice the sweet aroma emanating from your kitchen.

Cool the bars before cutting into 16 squares or any size you want. Maybe 4 big squares!

Common questions

What is Biscuit?

Biscuit is an all-purpose baking mix used for a variety of products such as pancakes, waffles, cake, biscuits, cakes, etc. Biscuit is a brand name that has been around since 1931. I guess you could almost call it old-fashioned. Jiffy is another popular brand. Look for the words “baking mix” on the box.

How is Biscuit different from flour?

Biscuit is a mixture that contains flour, oil, leavening, salt, sugar and other ingredients. This should be a shortcut, eliminating the need for a number of different components. If you are interested in making your own, give it a try Homemade Biscuit Mix.
