It Cordon Bleu chicken stew Is a round on the classic French version, made of stew. It is a delicious combination of rotisserie chicken and pork cubes covered in Swiss cheese and homemade cream sauce, topped with bread crumbs in butter. Serve with a salad like my pear salad or steamed or roasted vegetables like roasted carrots for a great meal.

What is Chicken Cordon Bleu?

“Cordon Bleu” refers to a chicken stuffed with pork and Swiss cheese. Traditionally, chicken breast in bread stuffed with pork and Swiss cheese and baked. With this recipe I disassembled the classic version and made a casserole out of it. It is comforting, delicious and a fun dinner for the audience.

Preheating + preparation

Definitely! Follow the instructions until baking time. At this point, cover the stew well with cling film and store in the refrigerator for up to two days. When ready, bake according to the instructions on the recipe card.

How to store or freeze chicken scraps Cordon Bleu stew

to store: Place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

freeze: Allow the dish to cool completely to room temperature. Place in an airtight container, safe in the freezer. It will stay fresh for up to 3 months frozen. For reheating, place in the oven at 350 degrees, frozen for an hour or until heated all the way through.
