We have officially joined the toddler smoothie train !! Luckily, Poppy has the same palate as her mom, so while that’s technically the recipe for her smoothie, it’s all I want in a smoothie too! Pink smoothie all around!

As with all my smoothies, the recipe below is highly customizable. You can use it as is, or you can use it as a base and build recipe. I love it because I pack all kinds of amazing fruits into one drink, plus protein from the yogurt. Occasionally I add a few more additions (see below) and she still devours it. We are obsessed. And I can guarantee you will too!

A few more additions to this pink smoothie:

  • Chia seeds – Add some more omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants
  • Hemp hearts – Loaded with vegetable protein and omegas
  • Flaxseed powder – Loaded with thiamine, which plays a key role in metabolism as well as cell function
  • Bee pollen – Loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants
  • Spinach Leaves or baby Kyle – Never a bad idea to add some more greens to the smoothie
  • Cocoa powder – Loaded with flavonoids. These have been shown to help lower blood pressure and improve blood circulation.
  • Teaspoon of Almond or peanut butter For added protein
