How to cook brats in the air fryer
While we love grilled beer brats, they are great for making them directly in the air fryer for a quick meal next to a bowl of cabbage salad!
- Place raw bristles in one layer in a basket or on the air frying tray (depending on your frying fryer).
- Fry in air 13-14 minutes flipping after 8 minutes (According to the recipe below).
- Continue to cook until the brats reach 165 degrees Celsius with a meat thermometer.
Let them sit for a few minutes before eating because they can explode and release hot juices. Serve them with lettuce, beans or fried potatoes!

Air frying is a foolproof way to make a juicy and super tasty bratwurst every time!
