Pillow soft on the inside and buttery, golden brown on the outside and topped with parmesan cheese and parsley…these won’t last long after you make them. Dip them in mustard or pizza sauce. These are a great appetizer with pizza or spaghetti and a little salad on the side.

We like to dip these in hot pizza sauce, marinara sauce or mustard. These are the perfect appetizer with pizza, pasta or any other Italian food.

How to make a parmesan bread bite

Since we’re taking a little help from the store and using frozen dough, the most time-consuming thing about these bread bites is waiting for the buns to thaw! Then it was a quick 20 minutes from start to finish. For full recipe details, see the printable recipe card below. Here’s what to expect when making these Parmesan Bread Bites.

Defrost rolls + cut into smaller pieces

allows for Defrost for about two hours until the dough is completely thawed. Cut dough balls into two uniform parts. Make small pillow shapes, if desired. (I was too lazy to do that!)

Dip the dough in a baking soda solution

melt away Baking soda powder B hot water. dip pieces of dough into a baking soda solution and place on greased baking paper.

Brush with melted butter, spices + cheese

Brush dough with Butter, melted And another solution of baking soda. Curt Salt, pepper, parsley flakes and Parmesan cheese up.

Bake + serve

to bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden. Serve with mustard or pizza sauce.

Once completely cooled, store any remaining bread bites in an airtight bag or container. They should stay fresh for 2-3 days in the fridge.

Can I freeze these?

Yes! Place bread bites at room temperature in a freezer safe, container or sealed bag. These should stay fresh in the freezer for two months. To thaw, let sit outside on the counter overnight or in the refrigerator.
