Tis the season for all things mint! I can never get enough. I’ve already made mint bark, gluten-free mint biscotti, almond flour mint chocolate cookies, mint espresso protein balls and more!

But this vanilla mint protein shake is a new favorite. It’s easy to make and perfect for the holidays.

For a fun treat, you can decorate with crushed mint. I usually skip this step if I’m running out the door. But my kids love it!

With just a few ingredients, you can indulge in a cool, creamy, minty protein shake.

What ingredients do I need?

  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or better)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla protein powder
  • 1/8 – 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (depending on how much mint you want)
  • 1 cup of ice

(Currently, I switch between Organ – vanilla bean and Chimpanzee Adama – plain and not sweetened powders Both are excellent options.

How do I make a vanilla mint protein shake?

As I said in my previous smoothies/shake recipes, I usually use a Ball mixer, since I earn enough for one. But if my kids want in on the action, I’ll use a bigger blender like this one Blender Ninja. Both are excellent options. Use everything you have!

Start by adding all the ingredients to your blender. Mix until a smooth and creamy texture is obtained.

Garnish with crushed mint, if desired.
