This Curry Pasta Salad is the homemade version of the side that has been sold in Australian supermarkets for decades.

It is almost effortless to prepare and goes well with barbecue chicken, barbecued meats, schnitzels and much more.

To make this salad, you will need:

  • Pasta spirals
  • mayonnaise
  • Greek yogurt
  • Curry powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Sultanate
  • Carrot
  • cayenne
  • salt and pepper to taste)
  • Parsley (for decoration).

Making curry pasta salad

Start boiling the pasta just until cooked. Filter and allow to cool.

Meanwhile, finely grate the carrot and finely chop the pepper.

Add the sultanas, carrots and pepper to the cooled pasta and mix to combine.

Mix the mayonnaise, yogurt, curry powder and turmeric powder in another bowl and mix well to combine. Pour over the pasta and the other ingredients and mix well to combine.

Serve your pasta salad

Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley.

Put in the fridge and serve cold.

Your pasta salad should last a few days in the fridge.

  • 2 1/2 cups Pasta spirals 230 grams (uncooked measurements)
  • 1/3 Goblet mayonnaise
  • 1/3 Goblet Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Curry powder
  • 1 pinch Turmeric powder
  • 1/3 Goblet Sultanate
  • 1 Carrot, finely grated
  • 1/2 Pepper, thin shopping
  • salt and pepper (taste)
  • 1 branch parsley (for decoration)
