Here’s a little holiday cheer to brighten these dark winter days – Pomegranate Rosemary Martinis!

partnership with Tito’s handmade vodkaI created this festive holiday drink featuring their small batch vodka, along with rosemary simple syrup, pomegranate juice and citrus fruits.

Refreshingly tart, and subtly sweet with a hint of rosemary, these are my kind of cocktails and I’ve been enjoying them maybe a little too much lately.

Ingredient notes

  • Citrus: The first few times I made it, I used lemons and Meyer lemons – then I switched to limes, which to me made it more refreshing.
  • alcohol– Use your favorite vodka or gin, or try an alcohol-free brand like SeedLip. I love the grove and garden flavors
  • pomegranate juice– If you use candy pomegranate juiceYou may need less simple syrup.

How to make pomegranate martinis

Make the rosemary-infused simple syrup!

Making the simple syrup.

Just add sugar (or honey) and water and rosemary in a saucepan and heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Cool and that’s it – it’s done!

Make the martini!

In a shaker, add two ounces of vodka, ¾ ounce of fresh citrus juice, ½ ounce of rosemary simple syrup, and 1 ounce of pomegranate juiceand shake it with ice.

Taste and adjust to your taste!

Pour it into a glass with a candied rim if you like.

Decorate with a sprig of rosemary and pomegranate seeds.

Can this be done in advance?

Yes! You can multiply the recipe, mix without ice and keep in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Can it be done without alcohol?

Yes, find a good non-alcoholic substitute like this Seedlip Brand – Grove or Garden. Gan is my favorite gin substitute!

Festive pomegranate martini with rosemary simple syrup … a refreshing and festive holiday cocktail made with vodka and pomegranate juice!



  1. To make simple rosemary syrup – place sugar or honeyWater and rosemary b small pot, and bring to a boil. stir until dissolved. let cool.
  2. Place vodka, lime juice, chilled rosemary syrup and pomegranate in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Taste and adjust sweet and citrus according to your taste.
  3. Pour into a small cocktail glass, and garnish with a sprig of rosemary, a slice of lime and pomegranate seeds.
  4. To make it easier, serve over ice with a splash of champagne!

Remarks

The simple syrup will last up to one week in the refrigerator.

To create a sugared rim, rub the tip of the cocktail glass with citrus juice and then float with sugar.
