A wonderfully cheesy macaroni that rarely disappoints. After all, who can say no to this rich, soft and perfectly seasoned pasta? What many people also love about this dish is that it exhibits a sense of coziness – a taste that reminds us of home because of how much we get to eat it as children. But some cooks who prefer not to work with the oven may shy away from the recipe. That’s why I made a suitable alternative where all you need is your pot and stove! Try this no-bake macaroni with me!

How can baked macaroni not taste good?

When it comes to macaroni, our minds often go almost immediately to the baking method. While this certainly works great too, I suggest you try a different way of cooking this ingredient. Utilizing your crock pot for this can create a softer, more delicate type of macaroni that really works nicely with our delicious corned beef and cheddar cheese. But if you like your pasta on the firmer side, you might prefer it baked.

But delving deeper into the flavor of this dish, we get a nice, satisfying flavor from our home-style corned beef in pasta sauce. Of course, you can also rely on onion and garlic to further enhance the taste of the dish.

Now that you have an idea of the end result, let’s dive right into making it at home!

How to make macaroni without baking

1. Preparing the macarons

  • Cooking the Elbow Macaroni – You will need 1kg of this ingredient. Use the package instructions to find out how long you need to cook this with your pot and water. Once your macaroni is cooked, you can simply drain your water.

2. Preparing the sauce

  • Fry the onion and garlic – pour 3 tablespoons of cooking oil in a wide, clean cooking pot. So you just have to let it warm up. Continue to add one onion that you chopped, as well as 5 cloves of garlic that you chopped. Now you can just fry your ingredients together, and keep going until the onion softens just enough.
  • The corned beef combination – it’s time to add 520 grams of CDO Home Style Corned Beef! Then just cook it all while stirring occasionally. This will take about 3 to 5 minutes. After that, you can simply sprinkle salt and ground black pepper as you like.

3. Put together the macaroni and the sauce

  • Adding our cooked macaroni – place this in the pot as well, then mix everything together gently. We will continue to cook while tossing for another 2 minutes.
  • Serving the dish – then you can put everything you cooked on a serving plate. For our coating, we will use half a cup of grated cheddar cheese and 2 teaspoons of chopped parsley.

Now you are done! Just know that it is definitely better to eat when it is hot from the pot. How about checking out some dish options to complement our macaroni?
