A lot of love has gone to the classic cheese sandwich, whose natural charm is a delicate and salty taste. But what if you add just the tiniest hint of spice, and a unique pepper flavor? The result is another fan favorite for a delicious afternoon snack or marinade – a pimiento cheese sandwich!

How to make a pimiento cheese sandwich

What does a pimiento cheese sandwich taste like?

You may be familiar with the iteration of this dish that uses a store-bought spread. You can expect a similar set of flavors to our recipe, but of course, with a richer taste. That’s because we don’t use any kind of cheese for it. You get the ideal amount of soft creaminess from softened cream cheese. And the unique salty taste of queso de bola definitely enhances the flavor of this dish.

If you are not a fan of food with a lot of heat, there is no reason to worry either. Pimento peppers are known as one of the least hot types of pepper. They offer the slightest kick, along with a little sweetness. And to finish it all, we have a little meat in the ham so that the dish can be more filling and satisfying.

Putting the ingredients together – in a container that will fit all of these ingredients, put your Lady’s Choice mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, pimento pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and salt and ground black pepper.

Mixing the ingredients – make sure everything is evenly distributed.

Preparing the bread – start by cutting the edges of the bread slices, and get rid of the crust.

Spreading the pimiento cheese mixture – now put a generous amount of the spread we made earlier on one side of your slice of bread.

Adding ham – now you can place a slice of ham on the side of the bread with pimiento spread. Then top that with another slice of bread with the pimiento side facing down.

Finishing – all you have to do now is cut the bread in half so you can shape them into triangles

Serving time – after that, you can take the serving container of your choice, and plate the sandwiches as you wish!
