A little over a year ago I decided to stop drinking. The extra pounds and lack of sleep weren’t worth the few minutes of dizzy spells or a cocktail might provide. I didn’t miss it at all.
Most of my friends still drink, and although for some who have stopped it can be a problem, I don’t mind. Not only can I drive them if they’ve been having too much fun, but I get a chuckle out of how well behaved they can be at times. And because I get a full night. . .
